Books

Adriana shares her passion for all things botanical in five published titles - Petal, The Cocktail Garden, Where the Wildflowers Grow, The Garden of Earthly Delights and a book of Wrapping paper designs - Posy.

Petal

A compendium of floral wonder, Petal reveals the colours, details and unique sculptural beauty of nature’s most remarkable creations.

Botanical artist Adriana Picker has curated specimens from all over the world to celebrate through her stunning illustrations, accompanied by writer Nina Rousseau's words on the folklore, fame and meaning of both favourite blooms and herbaceous curiosities.

Petal features over two hundred flowers from twenty-seven plant families – from elegant roses to otherworldly orchids and magnificent magnolias – as well as a dedicated chapter for unusual specimens.

The Cocktail Garden

Cocktail recipes focused around the flavours and produce found throughout the seasons, all stunningly illustrated by internationally renowned artist Adriana Picker.

From summery raspberries and rich figs to citrus and white peaches, apples and pineapples, and infusions using a riot of herbs – basil and thyme, to sage and lavender and other flavours found in the garden. There are drinks for long hot summer afternoons spent among flowers in the garden; wine spritzers for breezy evenings on the back porch; champagne cocktails for celebrations under the apple tree; nightcaps for wintry nights by the fireside; and fruity party punches for that garden party gathering with style.
